Juan Garza has dedicated his life to service, community and transparency – these values are at his core. As a U.S. Army veteran and lifelong public servant, Juan has the courage and strength to continue fighting to bring us safe and reliable water on the Central Basin Municipal Water District Governing Board.​

We live in increasingly challenging times where we confront climate change, volatile weather patterns, and chemicals that threaten our drinking water supplies. We cannot take a risk with our water, we need proven water leadership. Juan Garza is the experienced water leader our families need to ensure clean, safe and dependable water for us all.
THE EXPERIENCED WATER LEADER WE NEED
As our current Central Basin Municipal Water District Director Division 4 Director, Juan Garza has provided water leadership for 2 million residents in Los Angeles County on the Central Basin Municipal Water District Board of Directors in since November 2022 and for 19 million residents throughout Southern California on the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Board of Directors since February 2023. He also provided water leadership for years on the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts Board of Directors and as a water executive at Long Beach Water.
Juan has over 25 years of governance, government relations, management, communications, and contemporary fiscal experience, and in creating jobs in our communities.
As a small business owner, he has demonstrated excellence in leadership, inspiring success, reaching quantitative & qualitative goals, strategic management and interpersonal communication at all levels.
